Complete Streets for Canada

policy and design hub for building safe and inviting streets for all

Complete Streets Forum

The Toronto Centre for Active Transportation (TCAT) hosts an annual active transportation policy conference in Toronto called the Complete Streets Forum.

The Complete Streets Forum is an influential event that brings together hundreds of professionals, decision-makers and community members from the Greater Golden Horseshoe and beyond. Each year, exit surveys show a high satisfaction rate and interest in attending future events. The Forum provides a unique opportunity to share research, best practices, and creative solutions for designing and implementing Complete Streets - streets that are safe, accessible and enjoyable for everyone.

TCAT's Complete Streets work since 2009 has resulted in growing support and change across the province with more and more communities adopting policies and guidelines and redesigning streets to be more complete. Yet much needs to be done to continue the positive direction we're on.

TCAT looks forward to continuing to build momentum that help communities embrace a new approach to transportation planning, design and policy.
